Which Guru Should You Back?

I've got many friends who are looking for a business idea - we've all heard the concept of "multiple streams of income".

It's human nature to want to "get rich quick". Maybe one can - on the internet - maybe, I don't know about the "quick" and I'm also not sure about the "rich" but I'm convinced one can make a decent living.

I've started looking for the "names" - the "gurus" who have made it. And are still making it on the internet. I think I can learn a lot from them. I've found this website ranking the gurus. Very interesting indeed.

The top 5 (as at today's last calculation) are:

Guru Share Price
1 Ken Evoy $279.41
2 Correy Rudl $85.11
3 Dr Ralph Wilson $37.04
4 John Reese $29.52
5 Jim Daniels $24.59

Don't be fooled by these "share prices" - John Reese, the number 4 recently (in August 2004) made more than a million dollars in 24 hours!! You can download his report on how he did it at this website. Very interesting reading indeed. And you can buy his "full house" for a "mere" $997 - don't rush off and buy yet - I suggest you wait until you've read all of this.

Have you noticed how big the gap is between the number 1 and 2 spot? HUGE, isn't it? And compare the number 1 spot to John Reese in number 4. So, if number 4 can make a million in 24 hours and he is only the number 4 then surely number 1 must be doing something "more" - or what do you think?

The number 1, Ken Evoy, is well worth checking out. Notice that he hasn't made a million dollars in 24 hours - or has he and he's not telling? What he is "telling" is case study after case study of everyday people who are successful using his system.

Do you get it?

He's not focusing on his millions - he's focusing on how he has helped THOUSANDS of people like you and me to make, well maybe not a million, but a decent few thousand dollars a month.

He's very clear that this is not a "get rich quick scheme". This is about building a business one tortoise step after another. But, you have a "guru in your ear" whispering to you every step of the way, guiding, encouraging, explaining strategies and even scolding you if necessary.

This is worth investing in. This is worth every grain of energy and effort you can muster. If you've ever wanted to back a winner, this is your opportunity.

Kind Regards

So, a RSS Reader cannot be spammed - or can it?

One of the big advantages of using RSS is eliminating spam - right?

Another is the fact that the user is in control by subscribing ONLY to feeds she/he wants to - right?

No unwanted messages - right?

From what I've just experienced I'm tempted to say WRONG to all three questions.

Earlier this evening I refreshed my RSS-reader and saw hundreds of the strangest news-snippets being displayed.

Nothing (as per usual) from the SBI! forum and nothing from any of the other feeds that I have set up. All my chosen feeds have been working 100% until now. Instead, I had lots of UNWANTED feeds. (do we call this spam as well?)
I checked the channels and all my channels were gone - replaced by feeds that were definitely not set up by me.

WHAT IS GOING ON??? (Sorry for shouting but this, I think, is worth shouting about)

Here's a screen dump - for those who need proof.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Could this be spy ware?

Any ideas?

Any one?

Can RSS get me listed in Yahoo for free?

My RSS feed on www.perfect-party-ideas.com is up and working. Go check it out! Thanks to Marc Liron's Free Mini RSS Guide I did this in under an hour!

I've also setup my free My Yahoo! account and submitted this feed to it. I found Arun Agrawal's free RSS Feed Steps article very helpful in explaining how (and why!) to do this.

Why you may ask?

To get one's site reviewed by Yahoo one has to pay $299. Then, if they like the site, they'll spider, index and list it. If they think it isn't good enough ... bye bye $299! So, being listed in Yahoo is NOT guaranteed. (I've since posting this learned that there is a Yahoo Directory where one pays to be listed and a Yahoo Search whose slurp (spider) will find a web site by following inbound links to the site. This can take months and can't really be "controlled" - using RSS is a way of getting indexed quickly and I control this by initiating the RSS feeds. Anne-Marie 7 Jan 2005)

But, there is a way in, and its FREE.

Yahoo has been known to spider your site and add all these pages to its index within 48 hours. It also adds your RSS feed to its RSS directory.

Great if it works - I'll wait and see.

Arun goes further in his article explaining how to announce your RSS feed to the world by submitting to the RSS directories. He lists a few in his resources section but I found this Best Blog Directory And RSS Submission Sites very helpfull. Check it out for yourself.

Great stuff - what do you say?

Kind Regards
